Jasmin and Lonnie of Bellingham, Washington talk about their honor system market booth in their front yard. It sounds like it has had great success.

And then Jasmin takes me on a tour of her rather massive garden.

Flowers, rhubarb, raspberries, more flowers, squash, sculpture, floaty chairs, a tree house, a living teepee, yet more flowers, artwork, mason bee houses, bird houses, statues,

Potatoes grown in the straw mounding system can produce three times more potatoes.

A special thanks to Christy Nieto for lining up so many great video opportunities for me in Bellingham, Washington.

  • You have a beautiful garden, lots of work there!

  • How do you keep the critters from eating all your beautiful flowers and plants????

  • I wish there was a "love" button. I have played this video over and over. I showed it to two of my daughters (ages 18 and 8) a month ago and it instantly transformed them into garden enthusiasts. They are already building their hugelkultur gardens outside, planting seeds inside and planning their summer garden...all because of this beautiful video. Thank you. :)

  • how big is that piece of property?!

  • That is one of the most beautiful flower gardens I have seen in a LONG time! Very beautiful and must be full of insects as well!

  • Love the video!! My wife, who's not so into permaculture, was amazed by the tour you showed! Thanks Paul!

  • I completely love this!!!! Totally awesome! Thank you for sharing it with us :o)

  • 99.9% are law abiding and honest. It is that 0.1% the made the other 99.9% behave cautiously. We used to leave our main door unlock and open, but it no longer possible now.

  • Love the song, thanks for the great video. Bought the song :)
