~*~SOLD~*~
Although this ring is made of 999 fineness gold, it doesn't get out of shape that easily 'coz it's thick and heavy.

Bought in 1960 from Tin Sing Goldsmith situated in Chinatown, this ring weighs exactly 9.44 grams (0.3035 troy oz). Never know a small item like this ring has up to six hallmarks on its inner surface.

Sold to a returned customer on January 31, 2008 at current gold bullion price of US$925 per troy ounce. One troy ounce equals 31.1035 grams, and US$1.00 exchanges for S$1.42.

  • I can take a PURE gold 1/20th ounce Canadian Maple Leaf coin, and bend it in half, using only my weak fingers. If it were a stronger alloy, like 14KT I can't. Pure 24KT gold is bendable (maleable) like lead.

you have to treat every item made of pure gold like a piece of fine art.

you have to handle every item made of pure gold with care because it is pricey.

if you go about bending your nice piece of uncirculated gold coin, you are destroying your wealth or your country's wealth.

best you use your strength and energy to pump some iron in the gym and stay healthy that way. health is wealth.

  • Hurry take it to mordor

  • @turtle79070 Actually, bro, aint is now in the dictionary, therefore it is officially recognized as an English word. I know, it slightly upset me as well, but one cannot argue with the dictionary or thesaurus. :)

  • @turtle79070

maybe you should learn to handle gold properly before you buy any pure gold.

  • @vincentyeo88 maybe you should learn proper English before learning about the properties of gold?

  • @turtle79070

no, that ring ain't gonna bend out of shape on your finger.

considering the huge stockpile of 400-ounce gold ingots stacking from the floor to the ceiling inside the vault of a central bank. those ingots on the floor surface ain't gonna get out of shape as a result of the heavy weight exerts by those ingots above.

  • @vincentyeo88 considering the melting point of gold is 1947 F it wont melt in your hands, but it will bend out of shape in a month or so

  • @turtle79070

sure it won't keep its shape if you're thinking that pure gold is soft.

then all those huge and heavy pure gold ingots would have melted like ice cream when they are being handled and transported from vaults to vaults.

  • not "pure gold" pure gold wouldent keep its shape, its to soft
