Awesome timing man!! It really swings! You are just behind the beat in such a perfect manner. Got any tips on how to work on that?

Hey Thanks. A Tip:
Play "alternate picking" very consequently. Exercise eight notes: scales, arpeggios etc on a swing backing track. Like for example the dorian mode of Dmin (= c major scale over D min Chord).
Play swing pattern of eights of course (long - short etc...)
BUT HERE COMES THE TRICK:
Emphasize every second eight note (yes, the short one).ATTENTION: this means that if you play alternate picking (and you have to to pull this off) you have to emphasize the UPSTROKE!

@hugojacquet On wind instruments accenting every second note is called back tongue-ing, so i guess on a guitar it would be back picking

Tu maitrise vraiment bien le mode dorien, gamme mineur mélodique et harmonique, peux-tu me dire quel guitarisres, albums, tu as écouté pour te mettre ses sonorités dans l'oreille ???
D'avance merci.

Bonjour Luke,
