Warren Zevon brought me here. It still is nice that movies and tv shows are introducing his music to a new audience. This is his good bye song, to life. He wrote it and this is part of a documentary video they made of 'him' while he knew 'he' wasn't going to make it. He did not choose chemotherapy. A brave man wanted to go out on his own way. Asbestos exposure, took one of the best. R.I.P. Mr Zevon.

I being a former nurse has watched this disease and yes it takes many. Chemicals from our past are still there. He breathed it in at some time, I fact I know we all have been exposed, if we are old enough.

Thank you. I love his music. I love music in all forms, but sometimes the ones that mean something speak to me. This ones stands out more than most and I have over 500 songs that I consider important. He knew his time was near. David Letterman had him perform so many times, that video is worth looking up too. Enjoy every sandwich is what he told him. In the end, wouldn't it be some kind of wonderful, if we all listen to what is important. This song is the song of all songs.
