it looks like the 5920g. Got it, too.
I cracked my screen, too and fortunately, I got the screen of my sisters broken HP laptop working on the acer laptop. A cracked screen sometimes look very interesting.

just a note the sticky rubber boots stick back down very well with super glue

is there no issues with static electricity when refitting screens like there are with fitting ram and other types of circuit boards into a PC ? i know it's not a circuit board but i just thought i would ask before i done mine ?

Actually it isn't hard but it could be for that particular model but most are made the same.
