  • I am very new to this. When you "save as" with html, css, and php all used on the same page, you have to save the file as .php ??? I am starting from complete scratch so i apologise if my question is foolish.

  • @tysonuk You can get all the help you will need from our web design community at our Killersites Forum!

  • I have a question. What does PHP actually do?? I am kind of confused. I know how to use html and css but what other things does PHP do?

  • @123nabitnow PHP can be used for most web based applications and is one of the most versatile web programming languages out there. You can build shopping carts, login systems, etc.

  • This is great, and really helpful - the first video on youtube thats actually helped me.

But i have one question - is there a difference between 'Echo' and 'Print' that will affect me later on, or can i carry on using Echo instead of print?

Im guessing they do the same thing: They echo/print what your typing onto the page.

  • @sk8erdan95 That's a good question, I invite you to post your questions on our Killersites Forum, where you'll find a host of administrators and web designers/programmers who will be happy to answer all your questions and work out any problem with you. It would be great to have you join our community!

Depends on who's listening ... I designed these videos to appeal to designers and people who have never looked at programming before - so the videos are simple.
