Making hay with the fairly decrepit selection of International 584, PZ CM165 mower, Fransgard RV300 tedder and New Holland 377 baler. It's quite noisy - hence the chainsaw helmet for ear defenders and stone protection when mowing!

I had got the field all rowed up and just going round the headland when the tedder packed in - very luckily a friendly contractor was able to step in and row the remainder while I carried on baling - in the end approx 100 bales/acre.

I spotted one ragwort on the way round - unexpectedly in front of the camera...

The engine is nothing - it's all the loose bits and pieces that rattle when you wind it up to PTO speed..!

  • You should hear my 674, that noisy becausse ive put a straight pipe on it. It does sound nice at full chat though.
