Really Hard Puzzle 25 ("Poolin' Around") is probably the toughest puzzle in all of The Incredible Machine 2. This is the game's own solution to the puzzle, although there are several that could be conceived.

Wow! That's cool, it'd probably take me years to figure that one out lol

How do you get it to show the solution? Is it a cheat? Please help as I love this game but am horribly stuck! And I can't find guides to this version anywhere! grrr!

After you solve a puzzle, the "Show solution" button appears for it. You will need to have already solved the current puzzle once before you can use that feature.

What I know is that after the dummy from Sierra appears it loads for hours and still nothnig. Is there a special setting in dosbox?

Not that I know of. Might be a sound settings issue. I would try changing the sound settings in dosbox.conf and/or running the install program for the game to change the sound settings.

Might also be a problem with your copy of the game itself...

How can you still play it? Even DOSBOX can't emulate it.

To all those who doubt that DOSBox can run this game: get the latest version. I use that program to play this game myself.

Trick Shot and Poolin' Around are the 2 Hardest puzzles in the game... I don't even know why Trick Shot is in Hard Puzzles when it should be in Really Hard Puzzles.

I'm pretty sure you don't need a crack to run this game. All the versions I've tried work perfectly fine without it.

Right click the program, go to properties, click the memory tab, and set it to use 3000K or more of EMS memory. You should be able to run the game after that.

Alternatively, you can use right click TIM2 and open it with DOSBox, if you have it. However, DOSBox might not be recognized as a valid application to open an EXE file, so you may have to browse for it with the browse button in the Open With... dialog box.

Hmm telling the truth I do not experience any problems with running TIM 2 with sound. I think most games start to work OK when You change configuration file of dosbox (the CPU section), mine is as shown:

core=auto

cycles=max

cycleup=500

cycledown=20

Actaully, I'd rather not cheat - I love the sense of satisfaction when you finally figure a puzzle out!
