This is SM MegaMall, one of the largest malls in Asia. I went there along with Ate Irma to make a bill payment for my cell phone line connection in Globe Center, which is located in the 5th Floor. This is a video of our walk to Globe Telecom inside mall. SM MegaMall, Mandaluyong City, Philippines June 9, 2008

  • I am new to comment here so please to blast me for this. So how many stores and food places are in that mall? I see there are video games that are in the main part of the mall. That reminds me of an old mall that is no longer in operation, called Harundale Mall in Glen Burnie, Maryland where I live. How many floors are there?

    Nice video BTW.

  • @Hanssen69 - I don't know the exact figures man but there are many stores and food places inside this mall. It's 5 stories high with a basement. The basement is where you see the video games. They used to have an ice skating rink there too, but they removed it and transformed it into an open hall space for events. :D

  • You know what? When I took out my video camera several years ago in Glorietta, a security guard told me to stop filming inside the mall. Im not really sure why but I should have complained to the management of the mall because there are hundreds of videos on youtube of people filming videos in the malls and also taking pictures. I should have complained so they could fire that idiot security guard. Probably disgruntled over his 4 dollar a day salary the f*cking moron.

  • @MrHardrod2 - same thing happened to me actually, i just had to be discreet the next time, which is what I do now when filming in malls. I'm not sure what the reason is behind the prohibition but really it's a public place so I don't think taking videos should be an issue at all.

  • @demarcjw Thanks dude. What a shame though. I mean I was doing it so I could promote the Philippines and show the video to a lot of my canadian friends from work and bring more tourist dollars to them. The fool probably didn't even know that I was a tourist balik-bayan. Well, thanks for the info. I'll follow your lead and try to be discreet the next time.

  • @MrHardrod2 - you're welcome. stay in touch alright. :)

  • So how do I contact the mall's management and if I did contact them would they understand english? Hi there my name is Chris Hanssen and I live in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I am in the need of your help please? I have an odd hobby. I am a collector of Mall Guides and Maps. I collect out of state and out of country Mall Guides and Maps. Can you please send me your e-mail address so I can show you what I mean? Thank you. Can you please reply to my channel so I can get your e-mail. Thank you

  • @demarcjw

demarcjw I apologize for the lateness of this reply. Well thanks for the info. 5 floors up that is one big mall.

  • SM MEGAmall is a fucking boring mall,if you can see at the escalator puro etcho-derecho,left and right from 1st floor to the 5th floor pare-pareho ang style, walang ka-style style ang bobong architect ng sm company, wala man lang garden na matambayan puro gastos ka lang dyan,i have been there many times, hindi na pwede ang simpleng mall,sa dami ng pag-pipilian dapat sophisticated at pa-sikut-sikut ang style ng mall mo! pagod lang hanap mo dyan sa sm megamall.

  • @germanjews Making a living does not mean also being the CRIMINAL instead of trying to shake down tourists. If you went to Manila since you are from Germany and was harrassed by the cops and security and was asked to pay a lot more money , would you want that? huh, asshole? You're the stupid asshole cuz you don't know what is right or wrong. I refused to be victimized or ripped off by cops. It goes to show how really stupid you are even if you are a jew you would let Nazi's fuck you up easily

  • @germanjews Where making a living is tough? Fuck you jack-off. A lot of you guys are corrupt so now you want to be a criminal too. Just cuz making a living is tough? I came to Canada without a dime and I worked every job there is here including working in a factory, washing dishes, and yes I worked also as a security guard but we had better morals here. We are not CORRUPT. If someone here was caught accepting bribes or was trying to ask for a bribe, he would be fired from job and sent to prison
