Really now, if you have to watch a video on how to cut open a tube of caulk-you would be better off hiring the job out!

not bad tip but if you do cut i randomly wich i always do you can just run your finger over the tip to determine the angle

Wow thats pretty funny. I have gotten away with cutting my caulk tips on the built in cutter on the handle of a quality dripless caulk gun. Well for the past 10 or so years but what do I know. I also do silly stuff like use tarps.

Looked ok to me. You have to use a technique you are comfortable with and you have to be careful always regardless of your technique.

Dangerously done. Use the larger knife, tohse little ones snap easily under pressure and don't put your fingers behind the direction of your cut!!! Put it on a surfave and cut away from you.

Very informative. Just a sugestion, try to cut off from your fingers or just by placing the tube on a hard surface.
