The video of the very first moon landing of the apollo 11 mission in 1969! Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon with his now legenday words "One small step for man, a giant leap for mankind." This is a truly amazing video and it was in 1969!!! If you think about it, you have orders of magnitude more processing power in your mobile phone than they did in the whole space craft!! Incredible!

I saw those moon rocks. Where did they get them?

How could they get through the Van Halen radiation belt without getting cooked alive?

This is so amazing. No matter WHAT we do in the future...like find other life, even if in 1000 years we are flying and living from planet to planet... we will always remember the very first pioneers. No matter what humans ever do in the history of ever, these men will be known as the first stepping stones. They successfully exited Earth, and step foot onto the surface on the Moon. They will go down in human history forever, aswell as many other peoples' hearts.

You wouldn't be able to do that, even with the Hubble space telescope. Hubble’s resolution on the Moon is about 200 meters! That is, 200 meters are covered per pixel of resolution. In other words, even a football stadium on the Moon would look like a dot to Hubble.

Too prove it is real once and for all. Can't someone use a high powered telescope to take a picture of the freakin flag.
