A passenger jet travelling from Moscow crashed as it was preparing to land in central Russia, killing all 88 people aboard. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. (Sept. 14)
Of course Boeing planes have more crashes, because they have many times more flight hours than tupolevs and other russian stuff. But of course russian planes are not so bad what many people things, many of them just fly at areas and companies which maintenance sucks.
It's not the planes, it's how they are maintained and flown. The general attitude towards safe operation of machinery in Russia is haphazard. In Russia, 0.03% of population dies MONTHLY in just car accidents alone. and the roots of this are too deep to understand, unless you live there. Yet, the planes themselves are easily comparable in quality to Boeing or Airbus.
Aeroflot, that makes a suprise, another Ilyushin or Tupolev to hit the ground and kill people, RIP, copy and past if you think Tupolevs and Ilyushins bring death and need to be wiped out.
(part 2 to reply) the plane went down really fast and no one could handle the G force... the co pilot tried hard to bring the plane up... got it up but with the speed it went too high and the tip of the plane was at the top (before the plane went up the pilot and his song switched spots) (both the pilot and the co-pilot could of saved everyone... by letting go of the wheel which would balance out the auto pilot but they kept on fighting with the plane) after awhile the plane finallyhitsda ground
well this was a both a plane a human related accident the pilot let his kids in the cock pit & put the auto pilot on... he let his daughter sit in the seat first & turned the a nob to make the auto pilot turn & then he turned the nob back & his son went & the pilot did the same but his song knew he wasnt really flying the plan & was forcing the steering wheel or w.e to the oppisite direction it was going which made the auto pilot go off for a couple secs & was slowly turning the plane downwards
were they drinking vodka?

You are all wrong - the pilot was drunk and the co-pilot could not speak English to read the English flight manual.
The black box recorded one trying to turn right while the other trying to turn left and the navigator asking "What are we doing?"
