We will never have true representation as long as there is a need to campaign to get elected. The amount of money that has to be spent is so massive that only corporate sponsored candidates have a chance of being notices. When they get elected whether Dem or Rep or they now belong to the big spenders who put them in office In addition anyone who seeks out that type of power shouldn't be trusted with it. We end up with massive egos doing the work of the big corporations.
