Slip and Slide at the boat ramp

A buddy tried to pull his boat out on low tide without 4 wheel drive. His truck slid backwards just enough that the trailer tires fell off the end of the dock and then he was really stuck. It took a chevy 4x4 to pull him out while two other people lifted the trailer up over the end of the dock. It was a slimey mess and very hard to stand as you will see. Always use four wheel drive when pulling a boat out of the river:)

thats why you need a 4X4 or AWD, once the back wheels get in the water they float and slip.

@GINGERDAVID90 Yes we did. They had to take the boat off of the trailer, go into the water and physically lift the trailer off of the leadge (end of the boat ramp) and pull it forward, then reload the boat and pull it out. It was a long process, and unfortunately, none of us realized at first that the boat ramp dropped off so drastically and that the trailer was stuck on it. Thanks for asking:)
