I had to go out and stock up the fridge but didn't feel motivated until I heard a train rolling into the passing loop at Feilding. The trains usually roar through at 85k's but when they have to go into the loop, it's a 25k speed limit, so the noise is quite different. Grab the camera, jump in the car and we're off - oh man, it's dark already. Never mind, give it a go anyway. First shot is on the platform at Feilding Station. The second shot is from the middle of the road by the Kimbolton Road roundabout.
Now, if I was making a video about people not indicating on a roundabout, then this clip would have had a lot of material. In the 20 minutes I was there I witnessed two "almosts" - mainly as a result of people approaching way too fast. But this is a train video - it appeared the CTC was playing up and the LE had to lock the points before he could move out, and the bells didn't start operating until he was right up close - I was wondering if they were going to start at all. Special freight delivering empty containers to Whareroa - no milk though.
cool first to view, its handy when there a railway line next to the local super market and you need to get motivated to go shooping, good stuff

@fatnuts777666 Thanks man - shopping is no where near as fun as shooping ;-)
