  • @millenniumf1138 P.S. Artists (either intentionally or not) 'comment' on society through their work. One who attempts to "break" social norms is generally vain, with an inflated sense of the imporatnce of their art.

If this is making a comment on your society, then I weep for the species! (At least, the one to which you belong, which seems to be a sub-category of humnakind).

This will have to be my last comment on this matter, The subject was weird when it began but now it is boring.

  • @millenniumf1138 And you think that having a cake that would be fitting for a child's birthday party instead be the centre-piece of an adult ceremony is "breaking social constructs"? I think your rather strange ideal is explained by the fact you have the 'Millennium Falcon" in your non de plume, which leads me to surmise you are defending adults behaving like nerdy children rather than the intention of the worth of art

  • that tauntaun shit is disgustive

  • The force is strong in these people!

  • @MHuwCarr What does being an artist have to do with it? As a matter of fact, the artists I know think making things out of the norm like this is *good* for people to do because it breaks social constructs and forces people to reevaluate their ideas of what is normal, so you are most decidedly *not* acting like a true artist. Finally, saying you're an artist by way of justifying your opinion is unprofessional in the extreme and very unbecoming of your chosen profession.

  • Why? ...

    WHY???????????????

  • @MHuwCarr One should also note that an ellipsis consists of three periods, not seven. Also, you "bawk" at the idea? Those feathers must get in the way when you type, unless you use the "hunt and peck" method.

  • People are fucking weird.

  • @MHuwCarr I'm sorry, I didn't ask for a dick head's perspective. Did I use it right that time fuck head?

  • @vbrockladyv An apostrophe shows belonging; so the sentence should be, "from an artist's perspective.......movie fan's perspective."
