Yo-Yo Ma with Daniel Barenboim and the Chicago SO in this performance from 1997. This concerto will forever be associated with Jaqueline duPre, but YYM gives a performance that is beyond breathtaking. It is fitting that Barenboim is the conductor; I'm sure he feels this concerto is still in very good hands.

@Mizuno6857 Please listen to "The Four Season's" by: Vivaldi, "The Planets" by Gustav Holtz "A Mid Summer's Night Dream" Symphony Number 5 by: Felix Mendelssohn.
Most of all, listen to: Symphony # 9 by: Beethoven. Beethoven had lost all hearing when he wrote this score. He could only hear this symphony in his mind.

At the end I can't help but imagine a man shouting angry, frustrated, talking to someone trying to find an answer, an end to the horrible feelings he just can't stop feeling. Why can't he just have some peace. Pleading shouting, there can be none for him, so just leave him alone to his misery, GET OUT! At least thats what it feels like to me, feelings I'm far more experienced with than I'd like.
