Judgement Day - May 21, 2011 ???

From the Food For Thought Series by John W Baker. Down through the ages people have set dates for the End of the World and of course in every instance they have been proven wrong. When someone sets a date and says the Bible guarantees it and it does not come to pass it makes people think Christians will fall for anything and that the Bible is not trust-worthy. The fact is the Bible teaches us plainly that no one can know the date and that only the Father Himself knows! The time is not revealed in the Scriptures. Thankfully those who set dates for the end and coming of Jesus Christ do not represent the majority of Christians.

Well as predicted it appears that Harold Camping was wrong - AGAIN! He is a false prophet and does not know the Bible. HE holds himself as some prophet but all he accomplishes is to turn more people away from Christ. After all why trust the Bible if it was wrong on the date for the Judgement? The fact is the Bible does not give a date & in fact says we cannot know the exact day or time. It is a shame that an old fool like this man can mislead so many people. May they now know he is fraud!

Okay. Why can't all the crazy people keep their crack pot prophecies to themselves instead of spreading the bull shit of the "lord" Jesus Christ and leave the world in peace? These "predictions" often scare a lot of people and there is no need for it.

Please live in fear all you like but leave us sinners out of it, kaythanx.

@Anonkyou You prove my point about the harm that it causes those who do not believe because to say the Bible says the End of the World will be a certain date (it does not say that) and then guarantees it only to be proven wrong when it does not happen makes people think the Bible is wrong and Christians in general are crazy people who will believe anything. It is most unfortunate that there are some who call themselves Christians, and may very well indeed be, do such a disservice to others.

Well I didn't pay my mortgage this month figured it wouldn't matter. I guess I'll go write a check now just in case the Bible is right and this wacko in California is wrong. Good job John. :-)
