'Paint The City' - Vignette #2 - Jonathan

this is vignette #2 from my interactive DVD, 'paint the city'.

it was created for my multimedia class over the course of a month or so. the concept behind the project was to imagine the world as a blank canvas. with that blank canvas, what kind of world would you create? the DVD essentially follows four characters: melanie, jonathan, lara, and alexander. the world is seen in black&white and, as they come in contact with elements in their environment, they are essentially painting their world.

the project is an abstract representation of how our perceptions of the world vary from person to person. when it's all said and done, it is all of those perceptions that collectively make up the world as we know it.
