Was there man and Neil was in fine form, he had played some of the BDO festivals in temperatures nearing the 40 celcius mark and true to his ragged never say die form he gave the crowd changed the perceptions of the doubters, pleased the diehards giving all he had and more and was brutal with ole black

I'm fucking sick to death of uneducated musical fools out there today who think they know about music because they go to a shitty indie festival every year - Neil young as an absolute musical legend, made more of a mark than most and can be compared to any great songwriter. You fucking idiot's talking about the prodigy in the same breath should be banned from having an opinion - I tried to be more open minded but it's a fucking disgrace, do us all a favour and stay at Leeds Festival.

Musical tastes aside, this just confirms what I already knew. The Prodigy should have been on the main stage. They actually put on a show worth watching.. It looks like you could have got an equally 'good' performance by just putting on a neil young CD and imagining a fat old guy shuffling around on stage. Sorry but it's true. I feel sorry for all the people who missed out on seeing The Prodigy perform because their venue was packed beyond capacity.. It rocked. :)

HAHA, you don't even know what you're talking about. Neil Young finished the set with a 10 minute version of "A Day in the Life", which included him tearing up his guitar, finishing without a single string left. Yup, that's a fat old guy shuffling about...
The Prodigy I actually do like btw, they're one of the great big beat bands, but they will never have the historical or social impact Neil Young has had... and do you think in 40 years time people will be listening to the Prodigy?
