  • I must have been a real nintendo fanboy back in the day, I stuck with my nes until the snes came out...although in retrospect I really wish I had purchased the genesis or the turbografx 16...I missed out on so many good games....

PS. Thank you for getting your history right when you said the genesis came out to compete against the nes (and not the snes, which was wrongly stated by a popular "irate" reviewer in one of his videos)

  • @nintendoneil Ohya, I remember that strange retro review of that so called 'Irate' guy and I guess we can add another misfact to the list. I would've picked up both the Genesis and Turbografx-16 back then if their prices weren't so high, eh?

  • Dude, you have to do a video and show your PC Engine collection! Also showing some import friendly games would be helpful too

  • @forsigmar I been planning on something like that but I only have 10 games in my PC Engine collection and that's it so it's gonna be a short video.

  • Yeah, you got it right. This system was awesome. I remember trading (borrow trade) for my Genesis and Neutopia and Dungeon Explorer and Dragon Spirit and Military Madness. Great Games.

  • @cuttock Heh heh, that's what I did to my friend to try out the Genesis.

  • @MN12BIRD ok then how do you know me?

  • @the0vermind Yes I recognized you that's the only reason I responded to you

  • @MN12BIRD do you even know who i am?

  • @starsoldier1 Haha!! Man, I remember, I had these Genesis games at the time...must have been early 1990 or so...

    Altered Beast (pack in game)

    Ghouls & Ghosts

    Pat Riley Basketball

and some shooter. Not sure which....but Dragon Spirit was MUCH better, I remember.

  • @MN12BIRD Yeah, back in 1989 it was a much more even race and NEC actually had more games released including some pretty well known arcade titles like R*Type and Vigilante.
