Psychiatry is today, in 2008 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, what the witch hunts were in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, from my observation. I have seen so many lives destroyed here that it would make you sick to your stomach. The psychotropic drugs are the ropes and rivers and crushing stones and stake fires. Schizophrenia and Psychosis are the only true mental illnesses. Everyone has anxiety and depression--those are normal parts of living/life. Psychiatry fits the definition of insanity.

I'm actually studying Psychology at the moment and I think what you say about 'anxiety and depression' is probably a valid point. Some form of counselling is probably the best method of dealing with those things rather than putting a person on drugs straight away. Depression is a part of life, but of course can reach extreme levels if nothing is done to change it. There is a lot of pressure these days for people to be constantly buzzing, otherwise something 'must be wrong with them'.

True hope empowerplus- search it up, for those on meds and want the fuck off and are scared of going crazy.
