Unprovoked? You sir, are a douche. Leave it alone. Where I live in New England a woman was warned to stop feeding bears. She didn't, she was attacked, and the bear was killed by the authorities. Leave wild animals alone It's all fun and games to you, but it's a matter of survival to these animals.
Humans are so numerous and have killed off too many animals as it is, can we at least preserve the interesting animals, a la, whales, tigers, elephants, bears, sharks, etc?

Stupidity on the humans behalf. The elephant was clearly disturbed by your presence and even warned you to move away, but you didn't listen. Maybe next time you won't be so lucky!!

I don't mind bothering elephants... as long as you know what you're doing. I find it kind of short-sighted to say that it is sad and stressful for them. Living in a park without humans is equally as stressful. Thanks (?) to lion poaching, these elephants have it good. The world has changed and they must adapt too. We have to share the earth with them. There are plenty of elephant herds that are more relaxed towards humans... its a shame that poachers sometimes take advantage of this.

@H2Octavio it usually works. I think if the guy drive towards him he would have stopped. Every elephant is different though. There were little ones there, so that makes it trickier
