Sorry to correct you but the DRR frame is weaker than the Apex and Cobra. The motors in the DRR and Apex are the same with the exception of a bushing in the transmission. The Apex has more options and is definately more quad than the DRR, i own both....

If its your first quad I would suggest an APEX (90 or 100). It is a CVT machine so you will not have to worry about shifting. There are other quads such as the Cobra, DRR, Pitster Pro, Honda TRX 90....Google some of them and you will see the difference. If you go to my youtube page I have several videos and all of those quads can be seen racing there. The Apex is the most bang for the buck right now.

@numba5ftw Yea i know but at 6 years old he doesnt stay focused on body position, that will come with experience. The 9 year old is better this year, the video was taken in late 2009 and early 2010.

no hondas???

@mikeyorbob actually CVT quads are very popular in youth racing. Most races we go to will usually have several DRR's, Apex's and maybe a Cobra or two but we rarely see many Honda's. The new pitster quads are now becoming the 4-stroke shifter of choice for mini quad riders looking for that type of quad. We usually see more Hondas at the nationals, just not in our region (southeast).
