  • Fuk akakamazing listen to the speech

  • it doesnt matter who brought you here, it's the message the singh was trying to spread.

  • What a truly beautiful speech.

It is our jobs, as young Sikhs, to make his message, and the messages of the many Sikhs before him, herd. We must spread his beautiful words so that we never forget 84. We must never let such a tragedy happen to our people, or any other for that matter, again.

  • Shaheed jaswant singh khalra forever and always. RIP

    this was truly moving

Those who killed him deserve to die(in my opinion). Thanks akakaamazing for sending me here

  • never forget 84

  • Powerful !

  • In my opinion the greatest human rights activistr of all time!! Shaheed Bhai Jaswant Khalras willingness to investigate the disappearance, torture, and cremation of thousands of sikhs and his willingness to die for this cause is an inspiration for all! unfortunately so few know about him, it is important to keep his message alive so that the darkness does not cover us again!

  • Figured it out, was in 1995.

  • What year was this speech in?

  • @hell1sackers In 1995, while washing his car in front of his house, Khalra was abducted by under-cover commandos of Punjab Police. Those accused of his murder were not charged for ten years, though one of the suspects committed suicide in 1997. On November 18, 2005, six Punjab police officials were convicted and sentenced to seven years imprisonment for Khalra’s abduction and murder.
