Carpenters Top of the World (Special Edition)

One of the most popular songs of the duo was released on their second album in 1972. After Lyn Andersons version Richard decided to remix the song and re-released as a single on 1973. Is the version you usually hear in the radio.

On 1997 Richard Carpenter made his second solo album with a piano version of top of the world, where he changed the introduction. I loved what he made and mixed it with the original album song.

I LOVE this video. I wish I was around when the Carpenters were number one. I wasn't born till 1992. But I absolutely love The Carpenters and they are my favorite. I don't need none of this new music junk that artist are putting out.
