    can you change channels with your ipod ? I downloaded the comcast app on my ipod touch 3g and i dont see anywhere how to change channels

    It is browser based, so long as your laptop is running a compatible browser Xfinity Remote should work.

    haha wow! I posted this comment last year! This app has come a long way since then. You can now change channels with this app. My family is now full with 4 iPhone 4s' and a family ipad 2. We use this app all the time to change channels on our 3 comcast receivers. My tv comes equipped with facebook integration but i never use it since it feels weird checking updates in a room full of people, thats why i have my phone in my pocket!

    Verizon FiOS has had an idap, iphone, droid app for years. Why is this new info? I wonder whats next? Facebook, Twitter and other amazing technologies right through your TV like you can already do on FiOS. Maybe next Superbowl they will come out with that.
