This is the type of stuff you dont need a teacher for, super primitive learning, 2K classes lol, just download the pdf of "animation survival kit", learn without paying a cent. instead teach yurself the japanese way. programs you can download for free or buy cheap online. photoshop, premiere pro, adobe flash/after effects, toonboom, flipbook pro, pencil and paper. almost every top rate artist, drop out of school or never even attend. Lesean Thomas - boondocks, etc.

beautiful squashed ball
cause traditional animation can have you feel more, and more fun than stupid cut and paste. look at my stuff all paper animation ......and the key to a good film is not the work thats in it, but how much fun and effort you put in it :)

Most film houses would take a well versed 2D animator and teach them the software over a good computer animator. Drawing teaches you the basic principles of animation without the "help" of the computer. Not that I'm in any way knocking the computer guys.. (heck, I am one)
I worked with Kathy at Full Sail a few years ago. She is a genuinely excellent person and really knows her stuff. Wish she had been my instructor back in my early days...
