This was a good video i send my respetos to Mr. Rigo Reyes and whoever made this vid. The Amigos are one of San D's oldest lowrider clubs. I read about Rigo in Lowrider Mag he seems like a cool and interesting vato to meet. He was involved in our glorious Chicano Movement (S.D area) and he founded The Amigos C.C, back in 1977. ive been reading Lowrider Mag for a while and i like learning the history of the older clubs and the old days i know about some old school stuff

These guys have the right idea about lowriding and the culture. I remember them hanging out in parking lot of the Dairy Queen right across from the Safeway on Coronado Ave. (Now a NorthGate supermercado) in the late 70's and me being completely mezmerized by the cars. Beautiful paint with the Cragers or Supremes while some others rocked the Tru-Spoke Tru Classic and later the Tru-Ray. Amigos will always be an icon of mi barrio and make me that much prouder to say that I am from So. San Diego.
