I highly recommend this CD.

@fabrikk60 very perceptive ! also elements of "The Letters" on "Islands" ! (along with another one "The Sailor's Tale",maybe?! )
-
This is where "King Crimson" began, as it is this trio that started KC, as well as some of Fripps ideas for composing further.
-
This is friggin' King Crimson material right here.

moonchild from KC is just about the best song ever made--you HAVE to see the seen in Buffalo 66 when Christina Ricci is doing a spacy but sexy dance to it in a bowling alley
-
this song blows my mind today as much as it did in 1982 when i was 22

Giles and Giles look like twins c:

The second half jam reminds me of the lengthy "Moonchild" jam on their first album.

If you think this version sounds like "Moonchild", there's another out-take version of the band playing this with Ian McDonald adding flute. And it's 1.5 minutes longer and more free-form yet. That out-take can be heard on the GG & F archival release "The Brondesbury Tapes". Frankly though, I prefer this original version better.
