  • Have to agree with Poltroon, the only one's enjoying themselves were the 'actors'. " 2nd time with Secret Cinema and really disappointed again. Tiny screen we couldn't see over the people in front and 2 little speakers, so the sound was awful. Might try the Cinema event at Blenheim Palace in May?

  • @britflik Fair play, britflik. However, these aren't just pseuds. Doubtless some of them are: a lot of them are people who love the films involved and also love the idea of making an event out of them. Which doesn't sound so bad to me.

  • @Poltroon I love the red shoes. "it is surely more distressing to have to steal than to be stolen from" is one of the greatest lines in cinema. I take umbrage with the snotty and cringe worthy antics of this crowd who care little for the film itself. Rather, to be SEEN to be there dressing up and acting alternative. I have dealt with many such a character and I no longer garner any sympathy for their lame idiocies. genuine is not a word in their vocab, feel free to enlighten me.

  • @britflik : and also, apparently, without a sense of fun. No one's forcing you to watch this stuff. What sort of films do you favour?

  • @Poltroon you wish. sady i'm a discerning member of the young student populace who just fucking hates pretentious arty wankers

  • @britflik : Troll.

  • @xenmate : God, you're boring.

  • maybe all you anal retentives should drop a lets have some fun pill

  • good organisation. must be quite difficult fitting everyone up their own arse

  • "one of the dud films"? The Red Shoes is an absolute classic. Beautiful film.
