@gondegoogoo He was a young man in the original show. He ws only a kid in the movie version.

In the plays he is a . . . well, sorry, retard. A grown man (about 25 I would think) with a child's mind. That's why he's figity and akward. That's why (on the English version) he says "I may not be smart but I aint dumb." In the movie, he's a child. In the play, he's a mentally challaged grown man.

It depends on the director's interpretation. The original Broadway show had Toby as a simple/mildly retarded young man as opposed to a little boy in the American film version. That's probably what the Korean director is going for in this show.

Its good, but why does he keep having to hunch and bow all the time? Is it because he is taller than Mrs Lovett? and in the english movie he is just a little boy compared to now where he is an adult?
