1:06 I'm glad someone finally said it! That autism isn't a disease.

Also, ever stop and wonder if maybe you neurotypicals are the ones with the disorder? I honestly see less of you using your higher intelligences than I do with my aspy counterparts (not to be insulting). Also, if it's growing in prevalence then doesn't that mean eventually we'll outnumber you? You might want to watch what you say when referring to us as "damaged" or "disordered" when our roles may be reversed over the next few decades.
As for me, aspergers is a blessing, not a curse.

My IQ is around 140 and I was one of the youngest to graduate from my nursing program. I was student health sciences leader voted in by over 530 people, I spoke publicly at a conference in front of over 70 new professors, and lastly, I paid for my college program with over 10k in scholarship and bursaries.
So I have a question: How many of you neurotypicals have done that? I'd love to see you tell me I'm socially damaged as an aspy when I can do things some of you can only dream of.

Autism Speaks, it's time for YOU to listen. Just saying.

Hi, I just put a video on with song I wrote for a little Girl (a family friend's baby) who was born premature. I would like to share it with you. It's called "Blood of My Blood".

This video seems to have fairly accurate information which is impressive for Autism Speaks. Just add the fact that Autism Speaks represents the parents of those with Autism and not Autistics themselves and it would be perfect.

@myastroflight the only reason I replied is because its a vaccination theory, meaning it cant be proved what causes autism. I'm sure you're well read in the matter and that's why its even more shocking to see someone who is so confident that its vaccinations when really it can be anything. we just dont know. plus your obtrusive rhetorical demand at the end of your theory is offending and instead of helping your point it weakens it.

@myastroflight I do, it's informative because it lets the public know what Autism is and that is one of the problems with it, people don't know what it is and what it affects, Know your stuff.

@StitchV2 No. I'm spamming on a disinformation video. Know the difference.
This is awesome! I mean-It's not awesome that that many people don't know what it is but it's awesome of the plan and idea to spread awareness-Especially with this video!

Thank you for making an insightful video that can help educate about those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Though many people don't know all the facts about ASD, it is important to have the resources easily accessible so everyone can learn and understand more about it. Thank you Autism Speaks :-)
