@Tazer691 so true but like it was said at the hall of fame they didnt use their image to attain legendary status they sold records. but god to see them at there prime animals/wish u were here tours would be great on footage
-
@Tazer691 They have. But is on sale
-
@tjrtherocksponge I don't know that I'd say it was the first Roger Solo effort...many of the songs were written prior to and durring the recording of DSOTM.

Roger was being such a diva(o) at the time.1977-1983
-
@Tazer691--Because the mystery adds to the intrigue.

I couldn't agree more. Van Halen is a great guitar player, but David Gilmour is a great guitarist. There's a HUGE difference between guitar player and guitarist.

@Chrisdrumz Where are you getting this info from? Even in Nick's book he talks about having major problems with Roger wanting to control everything, he never talks mentions having problems with Dave.

@obcpwaves was Ricks album "Wet Dream"the stuff of his that was rejected from Animals?
I've never understood why a band of Pink Floyds stature has virtually no live footage pre The Wall. You'd think if your doing a world tour you would at least pay to have a couple of performances filmed proffesionally. What a tragedy...people would kill to see this stuff.

"Wish I was there" - man. This was , I suppose, their best tour. What a selection of great songs.
I love the atmosphere of "Animals"
