This video is processed file that has required 7 steps, no doubt attesting to my ineptness! It comes without audio. Please send mp3's of the A&I Symphonic band if you can to havona0869@gmail.com. I hope to obtain musical samples from Texas A&I symphonic band units playing in the early '70's and apply it to this video so as to keep true to the music that was produced by the wonderful bands out of A&I during the Joseph Bellamah years. Also, there is another musical unit named Chavez and the Chavelles, a local combo from Kingsville led by Mike Chavez.
Please bear in mind that this video is taken from an old "super 8" millimeter film that has somewhat survived 37 years of heat and dust!
Shouldn't Tommy Tuggle be somewhere on this video too?

I'm gonna let out a secret -- it was just about this time when Andy was playing the piccolo solo to Stars & Stripes forever on that 3B+!!!

Loved seeing my dad. He would have loved seeing this and i bet he could have recognized everyone and remembered everyone's names. His students were his "other" family. Thanks for posting this. It made me miss him even more.

this video was 1971 or 1972. The t-bone player was Andy Gamez, one of the trumpets was Joe Compeon. I was in the band at that time. So long ago ... memories

Wish I could wake up and find that the last 35 years were only a dream -- sure miss all the gang.
