The Hollywood & Vine Transit Oriented Development sits on 4.6 acres of Metro property, bordered by Hollywood Boulevard to the north, Vine Avenue to the west, Selma to the south and Argyle to the east.

It is an inhospitable environment for pedestrians. It is a call to action and it demonstrates the need for TOD standards that support the concept of streets as a great place for people.

It's also a call to action for the LADOT and the LAPD. How is it that the signals aren't surveyed or tested on a regular basis, how is it that the investigation into a death of a pedestrian doesn't include looking at the street signals to see if they are working?
