i am really glad you replied here brian. i was wondering if this discussion was going to come up.

to restate, i have no personal problem with this guy who has certainly mastered wedding receptions, i just had to make a comment, because i think the djtutor, free advice, practice and enjoy, anybody can dj mentality, is completely against the elitist club, 5k a show or your doing something "lesser" mentality.

That said, we all have our opinions. I respect all those who dj.

Well in all fairness, I haven't read his book or really know much about him exept what viewers like yourself have told me (positive or negative). I will say that when it comes to any philosophies, be it pollitical, theological, lifestyle, business practices, etc some people can be a bit extreme. That dosen't mean there isn't a good message hidden in there somewhere.

I understand your POV...but keep in mind, I don't own a storefront either, but I perform at about 30 to 40 weddings a year and I have earned over 6 figures anually since 2003 just from my wedding entertainment services. This is my career and there is plenty of room for others to make it their career as well.
