@brianartillery Right on... many of us liked this show. It had Martin Landau so right of the bat they could get you to believe something from the script. Overall it had a great feel to it no matter what the budget was.
I always loved this show - looking at it now [as I often do] it is a bit daft, but that doesn't matter. At all. And yet, I marvel at just how dark it could get [the smoking, decayed corpses in 'Death's Other Dominion', and especially in 'Dragons Domain' scared the shit out of my kid brother, and I hated Anton Zoref's charred body in 'Force Of Life'],but we HAD to watch it, as it always looked superb. Oh, and look in the 11th Doctor's TARDIS - he's got some of Moonbase Alpha's lights in it!
Ohh Space 1999 I never missed an episode........ those were the days
