@ZEAUXRO Semper Fi brother. This song also hit my heart at a timeI was so in love with someone that hurt me bad. Life is rough but Music touches the deepest emotions at times. I was a homesickmarine in okinawa back in 1978 and certain songs bring back thoise memories too.

Back again late in the evening hours, all quiet in the house and just the music and me in the nightime, what a great feeling to be able to enjoy this music in today's world of instant fame, from a time when there was much more class in our society, thank you Mr Cole for a beautiful song.

This is truly 'grown-folks' music--just gorgeous. Mr. Shearing was just class personified--and what is left to say about the golden voice of Nat Cole? Velvet on vinyl--just the greatest!

I remember hearing this new, at my uncle's home in NH, when I was 4 or 5. I don't know why, but it made an impression back then. It's nice to hear it again, after almost 50 years! Thanks for posting.
