here's a short clip of me during a late night practice session. I basically use my looper pedal to play some changes I want to work on, and then take some to time to improvise over the top starting off structured and "inside", then I expand on that and experiment with playing alterations, substitutions and then just random stuff to see how it sounds. I take the time to analyze each sound or each chord and really just get used to how each chord makes me feel. Each chord opens up a new possibility which you can expound upon, or you can see if there's one sound or scale you can play over a whole group of chords.
Great Mark! Hey how do you like the Markbass rig? I own one myself and it sounds amazing! What is yours set at?
