I'm an atheist but I still really love this song.

It shows that religion can be great when it helps people, but when they start hating people ( for example gays ), religion starts to turn to something horrible.

@ZeranZeran I agree completely. c: I was 7, and i went to Church for the first time..and they were giving me a tour of the church, and we entered a room filled with younger kids and the teacher was making them take an oath to never be gay and that it was a sin. So i threw a bible at the teacher and walked home. Andddddd.....i just realized this comment was made two years agoo..you probably won't read it.

@SsooFfetch exactly im pansexual AND a christian which is totally contridictory but if god forgives u for ur "sins" then even if it is a sin he doesnt care he still loves me ^.^ haha i dont think a persons sexual orientation should have anything to do with religion thats stupid, sorry not trying to be offensive just stating my opinion:)

It's really discriminatory to flatter a minority. I understand what you mean, but it does hurt to see that homosexuals are an entirely different people than heterosexuals. Christianity takes such an insignificant part of a person, and magnifies it, to the point of labeling it unnatural and inhumane. Such animosity against people trying to live with the same rights others are born with. I don't understand it: why we're hated so much.

@Miyaatan agian, christians don't hate homosexuals.we just don't like homosexuality.i think gay people are awesome, i really do but i just beleive the opposite sex are intended for eachother.you're completely right though.everybody deserves to have the right to love.

I don't desire to criticize a religion, but to hate someone for the person they love is wrong, and there is no reason, mortal or otherwise, that could ever support a religion's taking away of the right to love from anyone.

@ZeranZeran christianity isn't a religion it's a belief.what i believe and what chris claims or claimed to be idk what he is now but christians love everybody.we don't hate gay people but we hate homosexuality.so just b/c some1 is homo doesn't mean we say no no to them.some people go about it several ways not alwyas being the best.so we don't hate that person we just don't agree w/ how they are living their lives.
