On Saturday 30th May 2009, the East Lancashire Railway's Class 37 diesel locos were out and about on some of the railway's passenger services.

Ex EWS 37418 Pectinidae and 37109 (the latter recently repainted into BR Blue), plus BR Railfreight 37901 Mirrlees Pioneer were kept busy working trains between Heywood, Bury Bolton Street and Rawtenstall; all three locos produced some top notch, hellfire thrash and clag, under blazing late Spring sunshine. Locations in this video are near Ramsbottom, Bury Bolton Street, Summerseat and Heywood, on board the trains and on the platforms too.
