whats it called when yor sliding your hand down the neck of your guitar while doing hammer ons? like in warrants song big talk he slides his hand down the neck of the guitar while doing hammer ons or something along those lines, anyone know what its called

@sparta1n117 I don't know what it's called but it's an old Eddie VH trick. You do pull-offs on the g string, fret 4-2-0 while barely touching the string with your right hand as you glide down it. Your right hand is picking up all those harmonics on the way down the string.  -Neal

that remote thing is fascinating me what is going on it sends a single through a IR LED how are the pickups getting that single its light i  thought pickups pick up vibration of the strings so only vibration can set them off
