Manchester PD Abuses: Ivy (1)

Part one of two. Freestater Ivy Walker recounts to the CALEA review board numerous abuses committed by the Manchester Police Department in what started out as a routine traffic stop for an alleged noise violation. Refusal to provide a lawyer, the use of someone else's money to pay her bail without her or their consent, and failure to inventory seized property (which ultimately disappeared without a trace), and numerous other violations of laws and CALEA standards.

Not too familiar with legal parlance, are you? It may be "her" restaurant in layman's terms, but legally, the restaurant is owned by an LLC, and she's merely employed as the executive chef.

An LLC with multiple investors. While I "own" the restaurant, the dollars which come in and out of it are not my property alone; they are the property of the business, and therefore of all of the members and investors of the LLC.
