AVE MARIA? :/

@keyboardclass Surprisingly enough this prelude and fugue, being a 4 voice fugue, is an ARCT level piece. I'm doing it for my ARCT exam this January. 4 voices is that taxing part, especially making all the melody lines sing

@k73f the clavichord is such a wonderful instrument, my old organ teacher had one at the basilica where I trained.

@nomnomnombrains this is not a clavichord, its a GUITAR
-
@Pissankle , this is not a harpsichord, its a CLAVICHORD

Yes, a few notes on this HARPSICHORD are a tad sharp.

@keyboardclass I'm currently looking at my Gd 3 piano book, and the Prelude looks slightly harder than that. I'd say it briges the gap between 3 and 4.
I used to have a 33rpm record of his, on this clavichord, playing some rare Bach pieces. Once, I told him I had had it and he asked me if I still had it, because he had lost his.
Once in a while, I drop by his lonely grave...

His daughter contacted me through this vid a few months ago. Interesting, doesn't know where any of his papers are sadly.

what "grade" would this piece be considered?

I would think Prelude grade 2-3, Fugue grade 7-8.
