Bob (Bob McGrath) and Big Bird (Caroll Spinney) sing Aren't You Glad You're You. Lyrics by Johnny Burke, music by Jimmy Van Heusen, originally written for the 1945 Bing Crosby film The Bells of St. Mary's. This version is from the Sesame Street album Aren't You Glad You're You? (CTW 22083), which won a Grammy in 1977 for Best Recording for Children.

  • Oh how I loved this album! I wish they still sold it. :)

  • Yes, yes I am.

  • What a pleasant surprise to hear good old Irish tenor Bob McGrath singing this old Bing Crosby song with Big Bird. Mr. McGrath's voice and personality and Seasame Street are fond memories. I still have my S. Street LP with booklet!
