  • The word 'theory' in 'theory of evolution' or 'theory of gravity is not a word that means 'something not yet proven, but instead means a theory in the scientific sense of the word, as in 'a general principle of rules proven by experiments'

The whole argument about evolution being just a theory is therefore irrelevant.

  • @SwifterThanLight To quote Tim Minchin: I hope you feel the same way about the theory of gravity, because maybe then you'd float the fuck away!

  • @Borridd you are absolutely right and the really scary thing is one in three american adults do not believe in the theory of evolution.

  • Is this supposed to be a comedy show or a forum for posturing, self-indulgent arses? Either way I'm glad I don't have a telly licence to assist in funding this BBC garbage.

  • If Alan Davies is smart enough to see through all the bullshit, then any religious person has a lot to answer for.

  • @IAMTHESHITEHAWK Oh shut the fuck up keyboard warrior, come to my face and say it pussio scared little shit. I bet your mum still makes you lunch fucking dickhead.

  • @hamsta891 no I was too busy fucking your mum for lunch money!

  • Here in the UK we have whiny Christians(Archbishop of Canterbury anyone?) complaining about our recent Equality Laws because they aren't allowed to discriminate any more. Lol. They think it's their "religious right" not to follow the same laws as everyone else. Telling stuff, they can shove it.

  • @paintbaiijnk3 for the purpose of the whole discussion creationism vs. evolution I take evolution as a sure thing. But of course there are going to wind up with better theories, they always have. I just think debating about the scientific process about proving something in the same debate that tries to get people away from the prehistoric logic of creationism is useless and counter-productive, since some mentally less endowed individual might use this to propagate his own silly arguments.

  • @AtaPizdun You seem smart.. don't use that to take of advantage of the likes of youtube users. Something being supported by experiment results can only be speculated as to the reason that the experiment goes one way or the next. Once you have research confirming the REASON to a result of an experiment then you have what you need to call it something other then a theory. If people start to float tomorrow you are going to feel pretty foolish implying that the theory of gravity is proven.

  • @freedom1234573 Ok mate, and you do. If it makes you feel better. Little idiot.
