@Exone112 Reading can be interpreted differently. There's a difference between reading and speaking. Just because she didn't say the word doesn't mean she didn't necessarily read them. She just read them in her own way.

@spiazo Can't believe that a 2 year old comment still gets replies. Well, I define reading like this; being able to _understand_ a piece of text. The baby, 2 years ago, wouldn't be able to understand wtf a "Spork" was by seeing the word on a piece of paper. Sure, if someone held a spork in front of her, while showing the word-card to her, she would learn. But that's just association. She'd go and get the spork if one associated the wordcard "Knife" with it as well.

@Exone112 your pointing out the obvious fool. The fact that she is able to recognize the words, and remember the action used for that word is incredible for that age. You probably couldn't even walk.

She did just simple learn to recognize the "shapes" of the words. She doesn't read 'em you can tell from the video.
