@FeedMeMister i go with you on this... taylor's playing is known for being so erratic that any kind of form or structure is difficult to grasp, so yes, the best the drummer can do is pick up on taylor and fill....

look at the king look at the king look at the king the king the king.
are any of you fans of this 'music' familiar with the story 'the king's new clothes'?

For once, a piece of music does not need more cowbell :)
-
@jebjas Agreed. I thought his performance was very good.
-
So they let him out of penitentiary this time did they?
-
@Santi2c That's a ridiculous response. My point is that what he plays is lacking any point other than joining in. You can make any point you like about the fact that he played what he played, and I can play whatever I like, but I stand by my own point that what he played contributed nothing and to project some meaning onto it is just pretentiousness.
-
@Santi2c Thanks for a suitably pretentious response. If he had done what I suggested, it would have been both what he played, and something I could stand to listen to.
-
@jebjas MOST challenging in the sense of not freaking slipping into a COMA from all the drugs!!!

Now THAT'S a cowbell
i suppose only Cecil could take to the stage dressed like a prison inmate and still carry it off. Lovely playing from both
