Sustaining unnecessary notes, doing excessive ad-libs and random runs with zero adherence to the song structure is not soul singing. That's what we call lack of musical intelligence.

Why did they do that to Deborah? She has a lovely voice, but can not stand on the same stage with Rachelle. Rachelle is so effortless she looks like she could do this and chew gum. Deborah is WORKING HARD to keep up.

Deborah is talent so she sings but she doesn't feel what she sings. Rachelle FEELS what she sings and you can feel it too, down to your soul. No matter what the lady sings she makes you wanna stand up and hollar throwing up both your hands. Why hasn't she been on major TV shows like David Letterman, Tonight Show, etc. because she is awesome. She is the one should be rolling in the big money.

When is anyone going to get a revelation and let Rachelle sing a tribute song by herself. When others try to sing with her they tend to want to compete with her like now and each time she leaves the cold in the water.
